What did you think about Anderson Silva, I think he is board of the competition and is just joking around and having fun. I am very disappointed that it didn't finish because I think Anderson was about to explode.
I would like to see Anderson go up to 205 again, I don't think there is anyone at 205 that can beat him or match his skill level. It will be interesting to see who they match him up with next.

Black Belt Magazine Sucks!!
Dec , 29 Sep 08 3:56 PM
I wasted six bucks on the Sept. issue of Black Belt magazine and came across a ridiculous article about MMA written by Dave Lowery. In the article it made the comparison of MMA and other traditional martial art and came to the conclusion that MMA is primarily a mixture of western boxing and professional wrestling. As a result of this mixture MMA has adopted “the trash talking of the boxing weigh-in and the scripted threats and posturing that precede the professional wresting bout...” they went on to say… “posturing displays, shirtless muscle flexing, adopted fierce grimaces are an important aspect of MMA, one that’s supposed to present an air of intimidation or power. In this context, elaborate tattoos play a role, adding to the image. MMA participants are not the first to have adopted this, of course. Polynesian tattooing was a vital part of ritual and warfare centuries ago; indeed, many of the designs sported by MMA combatants are taken directly from those patterns…”
Dave Lowery is no doubt a moron and should take a more objective look at traditional martial arts, and explain why they use elaborate looking spin kicks, flashy weapons displays, ridiculous outfits that represent status or rank, and an over the top usage of tigers and dragons to promote their gyms. Seems like an effort to scare or intimidate an opponent to me.
Dave Lowery, if you somehow find this blog, please take my advice and find a new job.
