Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) Gi/No-Gi submission grappling

Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program offers a complete system that will teach you the use of leverage and superior body positioning to control and then submit an opponent. Upon achieving positional minance over your opponent you will then learn how to quickly and effectively end the fight with a simple choke or joint lock. Don't worry if you are not particularly strong or athletic. Because Jiu-jitsu is based on leverage and body position, it is perfectly designed for a smaller individual to defeat a much larger and stronger opponent or attacker.

Jiu-jitsu is traditionally practiced with a uniform, known as a "gi" consisting of a jacket, pants and a belt. No-Gi jiu-jitsu, also known as Submission Wrestling, is simply jiu-jitsu practiced with a t-shirt or rash-guard and a pair of shorts. Here at Rage Fight and Fitness we encourage students to practice both gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu as each one helps to improve overall grappling skill.

Boxing & Muay Thai (Thai Boxing)

Western Boxing involves deceptive footwork, as well as defensive aspects consisting of slips, feints, and head movement that make a well trained boxer an extremely difficult target to find. When combined with sophisticated and powerful punching combinations, western boxing is a very effective form of self defense.

Thai boxing is known as "King of the Ring" in kickboxing circles. Fights feature punches, kicks, elbows, knees, standing grappling and head-butts to wear down and knock out an opponent. Thai training methods develop devastating power, speed and superb cardio-vascular endurance as well as fighting spirit. Thai boxing training as also quite safe thanks to sophisticated pad training that evolved to keep fighters healthy between fights. Thai boxing has also proven very effective outside the ring and has been embraced enthusiastically by practitioners of a variety of self-defense, sporting, military and law enforcement activities.

Our 20,000 sq. ft gym features an extensive line of cardio equipment by Precor and LifeFitness from upright and recumbent bikes to ellipticals, treadmills and rowers the largest assortment of selectorized strenth training equipment and free weights in the area reature of 180 pieces of weight equipment including equipment by

Over 25 instructor led group fitness classes a week are offered in our 3000 sq. ft. private room featuring an air-suspended wooden floor including:

Kids' Martial Arts

 Our Kids Martial Arts Program gives your child the opportunity to:

  • build improved self-esteem
  • develop confidence and
  • improve discipline

All while having lots of fun. Through our program your child's concentration, coordination and fitness level will also increase. What we offer is a martial arts program specifically designed for children ages 7 to 13. This program focuses on improving children's listening and motor skills. These skills will help them enter society with a more confidence and enthusiasm. There are eight major skills our instructors focus on when training children ages four to six, those skills are: focus, teamwork, control, balance, memory, discipline, fitness and coordination. Each class we cover one of these skills with a wide variety of activities that are fun and at the same time educational. All skills are taught in a safe and supervised environment.
